This blog is intended to share my experiences and the things I’ve learned about living a healthy and active life. It will have information about weight loss, activity (exercise), and health. It may have some commentary about society. My primary exercise is running, with some walking and cycling. I’m a fan of these sports and compete regularly. I'm a middle-aged man who lost over 35 lbs seven years ago and has lost another 10 since then. I live in the land of oil refineries and LEGAL drug manufacturing (It used to be the Garden State, but now is the Suburban State.) I hope I can help you to get control of your health and plan to use this blog to share what I've found.

Howdy! Seems odd that a couple of days ago I ran in snow in LAS VEGAS!!! Stranger that it's colder here than back East too..the world is turning upside down...the sky is falling, the sky is falling! Happy trails, Bruce

I just did this after reading your running in the snow entry. The author there just woke up from a night of boozing and carousing!
