This blog is intended to share my experiences and the things I’ve learned about living a healthy and active life. It will have information about weight loss, activity (exercise), and health. It may have some commentary about society. My primary exercise is running, with some walking and cycling. I’m a fan of these sports and compete regularly. On monday night, we took my son to see the Harlem Globetrotters. While the basic show hasn't changed that much since I used to watch them on Wide World of Sports back in the '70's, it's still a great show for kids. My son, who's 7, and his cousin, who's 8, had a great time. We saw them in a small arena and were just 6? rows back. It was a very enjoyable event that I'd recommend to anyone with kids between ages 5 and 12.

I'm a middle-aged man who lost over 35 lbs seven years ago and has lost another 10 since then. I live in the land of oil refineries and LEGAL drug manufacturing (It used to be the Garden State, but now is the Suburban State.)
